Hybrid Classroom
Hybrid Classroom is a VR-based interactive learning environment built to combine traditional teaching with immersive simulations. It enables both teachers and students to connect in real time, whether in person or remotely, and interact with lessons through holographic 3D assets. The system supports a wide range of subjects — from human anatomy to marine biology and astronomy — making complex topics easier to understand through hands-on virtual exploration. By blending classroom teaching with VR interactivity, Hybrid Classroom creates a flexible, engaging, and scalable platform for modern education.

What I did
- Built a VR player character controller using Photon Fusion 2 and the Unity XR Interaction Toolkit for smooth cross-platform multiplayer.
- Developed hologram mechanics and a network-synced whiteboard so teachers and students can interact with lessons in real time.
- Implemented document sharing features, allowing teachers to upload PDFs, images, and videos that sync seamlessly across all connected students.
- Designed a room-changing system where teachers can switch subjects (e.g., human anatomy, marine biology, astronomy), with proper player repositioning and scene transitions.
- Optimized multiplayer networking to ensure low latency and consistent performance in VR environments.
- Worked on a scalable architecture to make it easy to add new subjects and learning modules in the future.
